About The Farm

“I’ve always been fascinated by nature’s intelligent designs. Many of humanity’s greatest innovations—from flight to architecture to computing—have drawn inspiration from the systems and patterns already perfected by the natural world. As an early investor in technology solutions aimed at improving human life, I once believed innovation alone would bring us closer to balance. But over time, I’ve become increasingly aware of how human-centred progress can disrupt the delicate ecosystems that sustain us.

After years of dreaming about starting a project of my own, I finally purchased Vallis Farm in 2021 with a vision of rewilding the land and breathing new life into the old farmhouse, to create a space where people and nature can live side by side.

My first priorities at Vallis Farm have been to become energy and water independent - regenerating not only the land, but the systems that sustain it. Next, was the dream of cultivating a garden that exists in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem: vibrant, edible, and alive with pollinators, birdsong, and biodiversity. And finally, building a community—a space where knowledge is shared, where people connect with nature and each other, and where we explore what it means to live well, responsibly, and in tune with the Earth.
