Printing Workshop

Join us for a creative, nature-inspired art workshop that combines hands-on crafting with the beauty of the outdoors! This workshop features a variety of printing activities,  inspired by the natural materials found at Vallis Farm.

We will start the workshop with a relaxing walk around the farm, where you will forage for a variety of natural materials like grasses, leaves, flowers, and twigs. Along the way, you will gather inspiration for the creative tasks ahead while connecting with nature.

Using different papers and the materials you have collected on the farm, you will learn how to explore the different processes of mixed media printing (including the gelli printing process), creating prints by pressing or rolling your foraged materials onto paper, creating nature-inspired designs.

By the end of the workshop, you will have a set of beautiful prints created from your foraged materials. It’s a day of creativity, nature, and fun, a perfect opportunity to embrace your artistic side in the heart of the farm!

About all collective
all collective are an art collective that celebrates individuality to promote a sense of belonging for all. They aim to encourage an act of care through collaborative workshops that combine play and sensory encounters with sustainable materials.

With a focus on the importance of ecology, they use their art and teaching experience to facilitate art based projects within local communities and organisations. Offering support in improving relations, by making positive connections with one another and the physical surroundings and environments we inhabit and coexist in.

Using arts based research as a form of dialogue, their objectives are to work alongside participants in order to create an equal platform that recognises wellbeing as a central focus. And uses art as tool to overcome barriers, and establish stronger connections. By working collaboratively with the people involved, they are creating an ethos of care in which all participants are seen as equals and contribute to ideas, processes and outcomes.
