Garden Workshops

The land is seen as the foundation of everything we do at Vallis Farm. It informs and inspires us in every aspect of our business.

Embedded with Permaculture principles, our gardens are the ‘showcase’ of these ideas. Designed with aesthetics, practicality, a variety of ‘uses’ both to ourselves and to nature, the gardens at Vallis Farm offer food, medicine, dye plants, habitat, beauty and nectar all year round.

We have several different planted spaces on our little farm including a kitchen garden, market garden, orchard, natural pool and forest garden as well as ornamental planting all around the farmhouse. We never use chemicals on our soils or plants, preferring instead to encourage natural predators and build soil health to enable plants to thrive and grow.

Our team cover a variety of skills an expertise, from natural material and dye plants, to edible polycultures. From no dig veg growing to gardening for cut flowers. This makes us unique in our ability to offer a range of gardening workshops to suit your interests.

Friends of Vallis members get 10% discount off all courses, so if you’re not yet a member why not sign up now?
