This is a conversation, not a lecture. Bring your ideas, your projects and your questions. Lara will offer practical guidance on how to position your work, meet ACE's criteria and help you hone your ideas to make your applications as strong as they can be.

Lara is an arts funding consultant, bid writer, creative strategist and access support worker with over a decade of experience across the UK arts and culture sector. Her online platform, Working With, has supported more than 500 creative practitioners to develop, position and fund their work. Collectively, her clients have raised more than £900,000 in public investment.
Lara has a particular specialism in access support, working alongside neurodivergent and disabled practitioners to remove the barriers that can make the funding application process feel inaccessible or overwhelming; raising £80,000 in public arts and culture grants for access clients since April 2026.
Alongside her consultancy work, Lara is Editor at Large (UK/Europe) for the LA-based arts publication Autre, and has worked with organisations including White Cube, The Dot Project and the Creative Mentor Network. She was recently awarded an Arts Council England DYCP grant to support her research into trauma, the criminal justice system and how creativity can be used to support those within in it.
