Men's Group at Vallis Farm
Thursday 30th April | 7:00pm–9:30pm
Held by Paul Harrild
Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been to men’s groups before, you’ll be welcomed into a circle of men gathering together at Vallis Farm. A space to hang out, be heard, and get real — without pressure or performance.
Do you ever feel like you lack purpose, direction, or a sense of belonging?
This group offers a chance to pause and explore who you really are, who you no longer need to be, and how you want to show up in your life.
We speak honestly about what’s going on. We listen without interrupting or trying to fix. We grow through real conversation — beyond the masks many of us wear.
There’s no pecking order. No judgement. No advice-giving. You can always say “pass” when it’s your turn.
Many men cope through self-criticism, overthinking, work, distraction, drink, or unhealthy habits. As Johann Hari said, “The opposite of addiction is not sobriety; the opposite of addiction is connection.” This space exists to offer that connection.
We support each other to become more grounded, more authentic men — and to take that back into our families, work, and communities.

This is not a therapy group, not an encounter group, and not a religious or political space. It’s simply a space shaped by the men who attend and what they choose to bring.
Please read the Ground Rules before attending (borrowed with permission from Kenny Mammarella-D’Cruz ).
