Join us for a deliciously indulgent Solstice afternoon of story-telling, tipple-tasting, and herbal-liqueur making, as we toast the regenerative ‘spirit’ of the darkest day of the year.   

Sit back, take up your glass, and immerse yourself in the stories of the plants, as we weave their alchemy into decadent seasonal concoctions that will keep you warm and well through the colder months.   

Led by onsite herbalists Jude Greenan and Olivia Cliff, ‘Tales and Tipples’ is the perfect pre-Christmas slow-down. It will leave you fortified to face the season, infused with the inspiration and know-how to turn humble grog into healing libations (...and possibly a little tipsy..!)  

Cosy up with us in front of the fire to: 

• Enjoy scrumptious samplings of home-made, medicinal liqueurs 

• Explore the properties of common herbs, and learn how to turn them into healing tipples 

• Delight in the company of the plants themselves, and revel in their stories 

• Concoct your own delicious herbal toddy to take home
